Hi my name is Ben McCarthy. I am in my final year at Manchester Metropolitan University. As part of my final year I am conducting a research project into the sport I love, football. In particular I am looking into the atmosphere at football games, something I believe is very important to the match day experience. I am looking to compile a large collection of data of the opinions of fans on this topic. I am looking to do this through a survey, the link of which is posted below. It should only take 5-10 mins complete and completing It would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions for improvements to my survey also would be great. Thanks for your time

Done. On the subject of atmosphere, God only knows what the club are thing to do prematch. Deafening music followed by barely audible PA. those lights? WTF?

Unfortunately due to my geographical circumstances and, erm, weans the choice of matchday experience round here is limited to Albion Rovers and Airdrieonians. Last time I went to watch Albion Rovers I would have fallen asleep if I hadn't had the Palace match to listen to on the radio.

Where other than your home team has the best atmosphere. Not an easy one. Plenty to pick from for the worst. I went for Arsenal worst, Portsmouth best although it's been a while since I was last down there.

Yep, probably sounds and looks good on TV because it's $hite in the ground! I now stay downstairs until 5 mins from kick off. An announcer who can speak properly and read his script would be an innovation and scrapping that amateurish half time "entertainment" would be a step in the right direction. I wonder sometimes if we are preparing ourselves for League 1?
