Where does it state in that article that he was 'Forced' to make an apology? You are simply twisting the story to suit your own outdated views. This idiot realised what a berk he was and apologised. Another example of not thinking before acting for 'fun'.

Is it racist - Its racially very insensitive, given the history of blacking up, and then blacking up and going as a beach sunglass seller isn't the cleverest or wisest move, and always likely to be risky. But it doesn't make him a racist. The important question is whether anyone there was offended. Its a pretty stupid thing to do (and if you're going to black up, at least go fantasy or celebrity). He's also old enough to understand why blacking up is very racially insensitive and likely to cause offence.

Mimicry is the sincerest form of flattery I reckon. I'd honestly be chuffed to bits if a black gay woman (such as Skin from Skunk Anansie) dressed up as me including whiting up, growing a big beard and wearing a fake tiny winky.

To be honest all this fuss is a load of sh1t what the hell is wrong in painting your face black for a fancy dress party. Its no different than a mate of mine who is as black as the ace of spades covering himself in flour and white paint to be Elton John for a do we went to. It was taken in good fun and everyone was happy with it. All this PC cr@p is getting out of hand and it needs to tone down and live and let live....
