Personally i think you are wrong. Not a "great" appointment. I will support SP decision but think we have missed a trick by not going for Mancini. Time will tell but dont think its a step forwards.

Christ. When will people stop peddling this dross. There is no chance Mancini would have joined us at the stage we are now. Absolute flight of fancy. We're not appointing someone to take us to the next level - Pardew has unwittingly taken us down a level and we need someone to take us back to where we were, stay in the PL for a couple more years, get a new stand, upgrade our public park level training facilities and MAYBE then we can talk about trying to consistently break the top 8.

And Mancini would not be anywhere near my hotlist of 'next level' managers.
