And I for one will not accept Cabaye is a bad apple! If you talk about attitude I think Townsend seems worse then anyone else. He might prefer to play on the right but is not fit to polish Wilfs boots at the moment and seems to be the kind of bloke that plays for himself rather then the team.

As far as I know Remy has been back at Chelsea since injury so we can hardly send him back . Cabaye will do just fine under more direct instruction from SA .

There will obviously be a change of style but I'm not convinced that it will become the route one of previous SA teams ,our squad has far more quality than he has previously been charged with.

You might overrate us, especially in defense! Have a look at what he had available at Newcastle when he joined them from Blackburn.... Owen, Viduka, Duff, Millner.... Maybe the comparison is that defense was the weakest link.

No need for many if any players to leave, except Pardew. Sam must be laughing at this scenario. He needn't do hardly a thing. Just a LB, CM and striker as we were going to try and buy anyway.

Disappointing Thread, I was expecting all those negative people, who seem to disagree with anything the club does, have decided to leave altogether.

But no just another doom monger fest.

Fair enough though there is nothing wrong with our defence that a decent left back wont put right in the short term .Long term and for further improvement I do agree though that the back four needs upgrading along with its protection .
