Very few writers really can crack the experience of mental illness as well as she did, even those who have suffered from it.

We will never know I think it's common misconceptions, i.e. people would associate members of the rolling stones as living a rock n roll lifestyle when actually it's what they are like in private. They probably have vegan diets and exercise regularly, probably haven't touched the white stuff for donkeys years. Then people you least expect, i.e. Whitney Houston for example who had a clean cut image are full blown coke heads
