I'm not entirely sure how this signing would help us. Judging by my friend's mum's dog-walker (who met Paul George during an ice-fishing trip in Siberia), this gentlemen does have some sporting pedigree, but possible in the wrong position for us. The dog-walker mentioned to be that Paul George is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). She believes that he is a three-time NBA All-Star and has been named three times to the All-NBA Team and twice to the NBA All-Defensive Team. Based on my contact's information, I just cannot advocate signing a basketball player for our football team.

I shall be attending the London NBA game next week where Mr George will be playing (Pacers vs Nuggets). I will ask him to confirm as to whether he's interested in Palace, and indeed the game of football, then. Surprisingly enough he has been on the end of some dodgy reffing decisions over the last few games so he'll fit right in! Edited by Wilesy01 (05 Jan 2017 10.37am)

This player might actually be a good shout for us. He's a left winger but with a right foot which is a slight shame but he's managed 5 assists in 15 Ligue 1 games plus 2 goals. Has also been capped twice by France.

With both bentekes out for who knows how long, wickham out for season that frighteningly leaves us with one striker ...Loic Remy god help us. We certainly need another striker as a priority now.

In his HOL Radio interview SP said that C. Benteke's injury is not as serious as was first thought and that Remy is expected to take some part in the Bolton game. We do need to sign another striker if possible nevertheless.
