Ben Davies is not good enough to play in the premier League. He was average in Swansea. Now they want to ditch him because he can't even be half the player Danny Rose is. If you want to drop to the Championship, buy Ben Davies. There's really nothing special about this left back, if you could go for any left average, quiet left back in the Championship or League 1 it would be the same.

Not sure how good he is but at least he is naturally left footed, has some PL experience...and for these reasons hopefully wont cost a fortune

Ben Davies is a good player. World beater? No but then we wouldn't even be talking about him if he was. Davies had an excellent Euros, not just the finals but qualifiers too. He is still only 23 so should continue to improve. Defensively, an upgrade on Souare

So is Fryers, who we paid generously to Tottenham for his services. Can anyone comment on how well he did yesterday with a start in the team?

I'd have Ben Davies at Palace. He is a good player no one should be saying he's not a prem player. Had a good euros was fantastic for Swansea. It's not worked out at Spurs but that doesn't make you a bad player.

He's been unfortunate at Spurs, Rose got the nod over him last year and they've stopped rotating them now also so I'm sure he'd appreciate the move. Come to think of it Trippier is also just wasting away on their bench also. A very good right also.
