Townsend is a class footballer but he joined us a difficult time.And to me since Sam arrived he is looking more like the player he can be. He worked his socks off against Bolton. It generally comes down to confidence which has been in short supply throughout the whole team. There always has to be a whipping boy,and Andros is the current target, but I think he will win the fans round.

Townsend is a class footballer but he joined us a difficult time.And to me since Sam arrived he is looking more like the player he can be.
He worked his socks off against Bolton.
It generally comes down to confidence which has been in short supply throughout the whole team.

Surely that would have been ironed out during his negotiations with the club. He MUST have known that that's where he'd be asked to play.
