What was he supposed to say, he's an Everton player now?

The decent thing and say nothing?

He didn't even play and he's out with a long term injury.

Rarely get too loyal or attached to players. Only very few would never kick it back in your face. Speroni, Jedi, paddy. DF grassed us up to the FA.

Fans are funny people.
They expect loyalty from people who work for someone else.
Would they have the same loyalty to an ex employer.
Players are professionals after the best deal they can get.
Just because you like somebody doesn't mean they like you.

Bit different though isn't it?

Just a bit of decency wouldn't be a bad thing.

I think you are both right.

I think you should only really expect something from players who have a long history with the club....Bolasie made it big here...but he was a Bristol city import. He's no Jim Cannon.

Freedman was in a difficult position and I softed somewhat to him in his Palace interview some time ago....Still, I felt in his case fans had some right to be a little miffed in the manner of his departure.

Bolassie has shown a lack of class where Palace is concerned, remember his final game. Not so much as a nod to the fans.

With Yannick, as Puff Daddy once said, It's all about the benjamins

the dignified don't even enter in the game

To say why not, is to miss the point. He hasn't uploaded images like this in the past, not even after their extraordinary result against City.

So, one can assume this is personal and gloating.

And no I don't expect loyalty but when some players believe the decent thing is not even celebrate when they score against an old club, it would be nice to show a little class.

I guess we see the true mark of the man, like another poster said on his last game, he seems to have little respect for the fans

I'd add Wilf to that list. Got to disagree with you there though, Bolasie is an Everton player and should be happy.

I went to Everton away, he got a load of stick off us during the game but still came and clapped us at the end. He provided us with many, many great memories and should be remembered for that. Can you really blame him for wanting to leave us when you see the subsequent results for Everton?

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.
