I wont give scorline in case people TIVO'd it, but i think i just watched the most Epic Superbowl of all time. Course i am biased, as i am a fan of one of the teams, having lived there for 5 years.

I've never seen a superbowl or an nfl game for that matter. Is it easy to get in to as I'd like to watch it next year? Is it similar to rugby (which tbh bores me)?

I'm not a massive fan but i do like American Football and always watch the Superbowl. I taped it last night, stayed away from any news this morning and i've just finished watching it. Congrats Brady.

Stayed up to watch it. I normally only watch highlights but glad I did. At half time (1am) I seriously considered just going to bed, but well worth staying up. I used to love American Football as a kid when the highlights were on early mornings and I haven't found it difficult to get back into it. The rules are mostly simpler than rugby for example and it is a really interesting tactical game. It's stop start, and it can take too long, but quite easy to get into. And it was a really good game - well worth staying up for. Especially as my boss is American and so he didn't mind me coming in late!
