If that's your attempt at humour I wouldn't give up the day job

I was there that day, eventually I was on the train that broke down.
"Five foot two eyes of blue Alan whittle after you"...

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

Brings back memories !

Young Tom Davies of Everton has been getting plaudits - his uncle is Alan Whittle !

Hoof. Are you trying to imply that there are no nutters in London?

No... I'm reminding those Sunderland tools that they are not all virtuous and above criticism.

So what if our stadium is overdue a facelift?

Who ever gave a toss what a load of Geordie wannabes thought about our ground?

In truth, they are probably reflecting what most 'Away' supporters think of our ground.
And many 'Home' supporters as well !!!!

Oh I know and agree.
In an ideal world we'd have a ground to be proud of but
I'm of the opinion though that, whether we had a shiny new ground or not, the away end should always be the most unwelcoming, uncomfortable part. In other words, you could put the away fans anywhere in Selhurst!

If a football fan judges their "match day experience" based on view, seat space, food/drink, facilities etc, Selhurst is a s*** ground.

However, if you're anti shiny new identikit stadia and want a stadium with a bit of character, Selhurst Park is up there with the best

I'm assuming your last sentence was heavily ironic?
The only thing I like about new stadia is the fact they're pillar-less.
I much prefer old style grounds but only if they're like Villa Park.
Best football stadium in the country in my view.

Highlights on MOTD at home v Southampton. About 90% empty at 0-3 down. Stupid cvnts. Nearly as deluded as Newcastle which i didn't think last season.
