I hated him as a player as much as I did a manager.
My older brother had punch ups with other soppy Palace fans during his playing days (I joined in naturally...even though he didn't need me. He's quite a tough b******, even to this day) because of his ineptitude on the pitch.
He should never have been our manager due to the fact he's a massive c***.
And surely we've had enough of them as managers!

Cabaye "better than everyone else" interview.

Warnock "didn't do very well here" interview.

All of his own doing.

Rumour is Pulis was lineup for West Ham but Allardyce had such a good start they couldn't sack with a good reason. That's why he wanted out. But more backing in transfer funds may have stopped that happening.

Who he wanted to use funds on we'll never know. Wasn't Zaha a Parish signing and rumour is Pulis didn't want him or any signings Parish decided without him?

It went wrong when we believed our own hype. We were riding high just before Christmas, top 6 or whatever, got cocky over the January transfer window, bought in the worst possible striker with an attitude that stunk and totally didn't fit our club.
It then slowly fell apart and instead of taking stock and realising what made us stay in this league was being ignored and we were plummeting, we thought we were established and pushed on and tried to transition, rather than address a woeful tail end to the season.
So you can say December to May was the period where we took our eye off the ball.

Youv'e put your finger on some important points. In addition, I think Pardew tried to change our atyle of play from fast, direct counter attack, to methodical possessiin based passing which went against the ethos of the team, and for which we didn't have the skill set

When Pardew stopped working with what he had inherited and started making his own stamp on the team and coaching staff.

I think my mate kenners46 makes a good point that although our league form had been poor second half of last season, at least we were still competitive and got to the cup final, the real rot started to set in last summer when we paid £32 million for one player and put him on £100k a week, also giving his brother a contract!! The team spirit was eroded from them on.

Nothing will ever change my mind regards Pardew.
I hated him as a player. Mainly due to the fact that he was a useless, pointless c***.
And I feel the same towards him as a manager. Mainly due to the fact that he is a useless, pointless c***.
Who has done my club untold damage.

When Clattenf*** didn't play advantage
When prick features didn't give off side
When Manpoo handled it in
When Punch lost form
When Bolasie got injured
When Wayne dropped it
When we didn't buy a centre half in 2015
When we sold a bit of our soul to America
When Cabaye dropped his wallet
When we paid 30K for a 10K player
When we sold a 20K player for 10

We could go on and on but being Palace means we will always ,always shoot ourselves in the head just when it seems we have every chance of moving up a level .

The main thing is we have another turning point soon ,onwards and upwards ,COYP

And we still need a striker
