Is there a more discredited 'sub genre' than the so-called hippie movement? The liberal counter culture brought us the curse of casual drug usage, the death sentence that is 'free love', crap music and the evil that is the challenge of soceital norms by long haired, godless, bead wearing ne'er-do-wells. Hippie culture continues to ruin modern day life, despite the best efforts of Reagan, Thatcher, Nixon, the Altamont free concert and punk rock to strangle it. From bellends like Russell Brand stating he will bring his daughter up in a 'gender neutral' manner to the 'not in my name' oxygen thieves whom need a healthy dose of reality rather than sitting in their manicured hands denouncing whatever the government does as 'evil', the hippie agenda is still be perpetrated by people whom should know better. I would like schools to teach that the hippie movement was regrettable and evil in order for future generations not to repeat the mistakes of the past. We could then attempt to blot this unfortunate stain of human history from memory.

Do you want your kids smoking marijuana cigarettes whilst listening to Peter, Paul & Mary, plotting to overthrow society by 'dropping out' and rejecting everything our forefathers fought for? Hippies brought us Charles Manson and Carlos the Jackel. They brought us the Red Army Faction. Absolutely not.
