I've been sent a link to the HOL rule book and yellow carded for describing this poster using abusive language.

However his use of language is in contravention of the same rule because it is racially objectionable and abusive.

I note that Mr Sizlak hasn't been yellow carded for describing my wife and large numbers of my friends as being a bad lot just because of where they were born.

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly care if I (also) get banned from the HOL.

I was just wondering if it's normal for the moderators of this site to turn a blind eye to racist dick heads whilst banning other people just for using the word prick?

I don't like this poster either...if I hear another, 'it's Pardew's fault' post I think I'll kick my non existent cat....but....come on.

To try to censor someone because they make a general statement about not liking a group is going far too far.

The rule about swearing is essential....otherwise this forum would be turned into an abuse cesspool quicker than anything.

As for bringing race into it. How have your decided that? He might to referring to general cultural differences...and how are other Europeans different in race terms to this country of Europeans? I don't feel that it's an intellectually honest accusation.

This is a public forum, we don't want any added censorship. We all have to stomach stuff we don't like....I once read a 'joke' on here about people eating babies...that didn't get a card so outside of personally abusing someone you are on a sticky wicket.

I think Hol gets it about right most of time. Maybe you should go onto some 'progressive' forum and complain about how terrible freedom of speech is.

We are all wary of groups of people and need to get to know individuals before we regard them with fondness. I need to comment on the generalisation regarding zoo elephants. Elephants come in two basic varieties - African Elephants and the smaller Indian Elephants - which are the ones that Zoos prefer. However it seems that when giving consideration to bring back a mammoth scientists are focusing on the Indian Elephant due to the (I believe) 99% match for those two species. commconsiteWHE famplify It
