The guy was outstanding today, exactly what we need and a player like him has such a huge effect on the rest of the team. Most underrated position there is!

The sort of player we should have got pre-season. Very impressive break-up play and the boy can certainly place a pass.

He was very classy, broke things up well, pings a good long ball as well as decent first time passes to the attackers on their way. My motm today.

One of the NBC commentators mentioned a few times that 'Boro weren't coming forward quick enough when they got possession. Luka was a massive part in that, his positioning was really good, stopping the quick ball and allowing the hard chasing work from the forwards to pay off.

He's a bloody monster, hopefully he'll get even better.

So impressed with Luka today, picked up all the loose balls in the middle of the park, put in the tackles where needed and showed great composure, to get us back attacking... Proper sweeper/defensive performance... Hopefully he can put on displays like today, consistently until the end of the season.

I really like this guy. The control and quick passing were excellent. He could well be the difference we needed all along.
