Luka for me was by far the most impressive player on the park. Broke up play read the game really well, made the game look simple and allowed others around him to take of the shakels and play.

Considering he has only been with us for a short period of time I also noticed him directing others around him. Surely a good shout for a future captain.

If only this position had not been so poorly ignored by Pardew at the start of the season we would surley be in a much healthier position. Great signing.

Glad someone mentioned it. Agree with this a million per cent. I thought Cabaye was class today and it's because Luka is allowing him to get forward and more or less do what he wants.

For his first game at Stoke didn't look flustered and sat back in the position we needed. He's defo a Jedi upgrade IMO
