Wales didn't lose because of Wayne which is clearly stated in comments above.

As a Wales supporter I am desperately disappointed to miss out on a wonderful chance to be in Russia next summer.

Wales have been a three-man team - Bale, Ramsey and Allen. Remove two of them from the equation, as in the Republic game, and there's not much left.

And Jonny Williams demonstrated clearly why a succession fo CPFC managers havent rated him. But that's another story.
