Two games to look forward to next season although they are bloody miles away from me.

Definition of ''going over'':

a heavy defeat.
"Pontypool gave them a 35–6 going-over"

Not sure what language issue you are referring to?

I recall the last game was Brighton 0 - 2 Palace on thew evening of 13/05/2013. I was sat with my Brighton supporting day with the home fans.

Perhaps age has something to do with interpretation?

Got to say this is a magnificent achievement by Brighton. Nearly a non-league club 20 years ago - and to now be in the Premier League is an amazing turnaround.

Everyone will acknowledge the Amex is superior to Selhurst as a top flight stadium and there is no point knocking their support as they have a much bigger catchment area that could ensure sustainable Premier League status for years.

Credit where credit is due.

No. F**k them all (metaphorically of course).

Their catchment area is - in terms of actual people - smaller than ours anyway.

Let's not get them early in the season - sometime in November when they're honeymoon period is over and they've got a couple of key injuries would be ideal. I'd like Christian Benteke to earn a Magic Hat.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

Can't believe some of the comments. f***ing hate 'em. Wish 'em nothing but ill. And relish the games because of it.

They need to invest heavily. If you look at their squad it's pretty s***. They got fortunate that it turned out Murray wasn't past it. If he was they'd be f***ed

It goes to show that if you have an owner willing to risk over a quarter of a billion £ then you can buy your way out of the Championship.

Remember that he wasn't just risking his own money, if his gamble had failed Brighton would have gone bust. It's going to take many seasons in the top flight before he can recoup all that dosh, one or two seasons in the PL then a few years of parachute payments isn't going to be enough.

As someone else has already posted, lets hope we get them in November rather than right at the beginning of the season. Although, after being the fist team to beat them in the league at the Amex, it would be nice to thrash them on the first day of the season.

Just need to make sure that we stay up first.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
