He seems to be soaking it in, loving the fans and overpowering atmosphere @ Selhurst. I say he stays.

don't underestimate the arrogance of the big clubs. they'll rate him as not good enough for liverpool and so not worthy for them. yet they'll spend loads on a dunce like john stones. meanwhile, sakho can deliver the goods week in and week out.

sam is getting the best out of him. he can't deny it and neither can anyone watching it. he's getting on in age - does he want to strive for the glory of the top 4 or be a legend who gets a small club over the hump towards the next level?

probably comes down to who pays him the most. liverpool will get offers from us, everton, and likely china.

Sign him if we can. Can't believe it's the same defence (roughly).

How many goals has he saved? How much has he improved the performances and therefore net worth of Hennessey, Dann, Delaney, Ward, Kelly, Tomkins? How much time does he buy the defence? How often does he turn attacks around and transition that to the midifeld and rebounds? Add that up. He's a walking backline. He's worth 30m.

Sign him up long time and let him put the figures on for salary! What a gem....the scousers must be sick of reading about him in palace colors. Lovren, Klavan anybody...?

Up there in greatness with Eric Young & Claude Davis for me.
We should do absolutely everything we can to keep him & I reckon he is keen on staying here too.

Err, he's just turned 27 hasn't he? If that's getting on then god knows what you consider to be old.

He could have 6/7 years of top flight football left yet.
