In klopp press conference said there was no clause in the loan deal to make Sakho switch to Palace permanent. Does this throw the move in doubt. If we can't manage to persuade Sakho to sign for us. with potentially Delaney being released. The partnership of dann and Tomkins didn't work under big Sam. Who should partner to Tomkins next season? L Kone - signed with big Sam and got the best out of him James Chester - has had prem experience Harry Macguire - could be available if hull are relegated Any other suggestions

I'd love to see Kurt Zouma play for us whether that's on loan or permanently. I doubt Chelsea/Mr Zouma would want the latter so I'd settle for the former happily!

I'm not say give up. I just feel it could be like the Benteke saga that drags on until end of august for a conclusion. Whether the suggestion are better than Sakho or not. We need to keep our options open.

Lamine Kone. Proven quantity and had a similar effect with BS at Sunderland last season to Sakho. All these options are a step down however and Sakho should be number one choice.

If we get a chance to keep Sakho, He could probably talk fellow frenchman Zouma into coming into the fold. They'd both start and help us have one of the better defenses in the PL that way! Guess money is the problem preventing this from ever happening though...
