This weekend's results have amped up the pressure on our remaining fixtures. Liverpool will be pressing hard to stay in the top 4 (and above Utd); Spurs will be chasing Chelsea - now legitimately within reach; Man City will be chasing a top 4 finish; and Utd will be chasing a top 4 finish.

We're going to have to be at our organised best to have a prayer against all these teams hitting form at the same time and chasing much coveted prizes.

That's why we'll win. We prefer teams attacking us. Leicester didn't, as Burnley won't, which is what make their games harder (we are forced to play). Big Ben winning every hoof-ball with Townsend and Zaha in killer-form is simply too potent for ANY PL side. All we need to do is defend.

That's just it though. These are just the sort of stats where palace defy logic over the years. To me, it would be typical Palace to beat Spurs and lose at home to Burnley.

Typical

They didn't look very good vs West Brom I think we can pick up our annual 3 points here to be honest. They're missing Mane and Lallana. Hopefully we have Tomkins back and PVA returning is a massive boost.

I think Sam Allardyce couldn't care less about Brighton in any way. The priority is to maintain Premiere League status irrelevant of who is promoted from the championship. I'm sure none of the players will even think about Brighton and many even probably don't know who Brighton are or where Brighton is. The team has changed hugely since Palace's Championship days.

What's that got to do with it,if we stay up I am sure Sam will be made well aware they are our biggest rivals.

Must win..not sorry must slaughter the weed.

I've seen a few Burnley away games e.g Liverpool. They generally start off well but just cannot put ball in net. Then go a goal down and dont look that likely to get anything out of game

I like what you are saying, Raymondo. Personally I'm really confident. The team has turned the corner, and other sides now fear us. Surely LCFC fielding their almost-full-strength team is a compliment that confirms that fact. And I was really impressed with how we came back at LCFC and how for a brief spell at 2-2 we were terrorising them, until Wilf went off.

Others will no doubt disagree, but I think the Burnley and Hull games will be home wins. I'm not saying they will be easy, but I sincerely think we've got too much in the tank for those two opponents. Accordingly I was therefore prepared to 'not worry' about the other 4 games, but yes...on reflection...let's play some classic rear-guard stuff and take some of 'em out on the break.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Expect nothing as a result on Sunday, give 100% on the pitch, and any positive result we can earn, then we carry on to the Spurs home game. 6 Cup Finals to go, 2 wins still needed. It's tough but everyone else has tough games too.

Completely agree. Liverpool and Spurs will come at us leaving space to exploit as they have to win. Burnley don't, they just need a point so will sit back, resolute and stubborn letting us do all the work.....which historically we're not very good at.
