This is (and has been for ages) going round in circles. Why not call it a day and wait to see how the new manager views the GK situation? I expect him to sell Mandanda and get in another (shame he arrived too late to get Begovic) and probably do what the past 3 managers have done- stick with Hennessey - unless the new arrival is better.

I know you hold a torch for Mandanda, but you are clutching at straws now. The bloke is a supposed experienced international used to playing in different countries. He hasn't got to fit into a team pattern like outfield players, his job as a keeper is the same for any team.

Because gathering a witch hunty atmosphere will have nothing but a negative effect, so it's good to view things with a bit of perspective instead of behaving in a school boy manor. I've said let's wait and see many times but my point is we should get behind him if he is our number 1 next season, Hennessey seems to of got enough backing from the fans despite the fact he's been pretty awful for years. Steve should get the same if he stays, considering he's had no time to really prove himself and no one really knows the facts behind his absence. Quite simple stuff really - also saves people embarrassing themselves if he does in fact turn out good, granted he may not, but it's still such a silly way to act after such a short run of games under the circumstances and it's typical of many of our fans to do this. Had the same thing with Puncheon when he first joined.

The guy obviously doesn't want to stay here so why should Palace fans be signing his praises. I actually agree with you that we can't judge him over such a short stint but I also agree with anyone who wants to call him a douchbag becuase frankly he has acted in the most unprofessional manner. Clearly he is trying to go back to France and clearly he's been trying for months. So f*** how good he is. He's not Palace! End of.

AM had less games was dropped then sold. SM has no excuses he just did not play well was dropped got injured and then did nothing to show SA that he was a better keeper then WH. Lets hope SM comes out fighting in pre season games and gives FDB no option but to play him, it will save the club a lot of money that we can use to better effect.
