The players seemed physically tired by 70 minutes last night, and with only about 50 hours between games i'm worried we might get caught out again Saturday evening.

I must say I was a little surprised Sam didn't make more changes, as he had suggested he would.

Do people think we'll have the energy to be up-for-it? Would you make the team changes for Burnley?

... what

It was a really challeging game against Liverpool physically and we were 'Away' so had to make the journey back down south and not arriving back until late.

At least we go from a 'Home' to a 'Home' game so perhaps this won't be the same situation.

Yes. I think we should rest our wingers, push Shlupp to the left wing (with PVA at left back). Rest Punch and play Delaney as captain. B.Sakho on the right with Remy (if fit!?) up front. Flamini for Luca too. Can bring the big boys on as subs (if needed)

Need to go for it on Saturday, wouldn't be surprised if Patrick plays and either Wilf or Andros starts on the bench but I think Sam will want to get goals early and then hold on.

the players looked shattered after 60mins 3 games in 6 days is just to much ,burnely do not have a lot of skill but they will be a pace faster than us ,i am fearful that they will beat us,swansea play a man u team that has a lot of injury problems 2 days after they have played city i expect that game might not go as expected either , we are far from being safe

I agree with the general thrust of this post.
I doubt we will get all the points against Burnley.
And still "Squeaky bum" time for me I'm afraid.

have to admit just before the spurs game ,palace were 400/1 on betfair to go down and i did put a sneaky tenner on it ,if we do not beat burnly and swansea do the dirty on man u the lay odds would tumble right down , if you understand how the betting exchanges work

Your making Burnley sound like Barca, their away record is piss poor, and we have way to much in midfield and up top for them away from home. 3 Points a win by two goals and safety by 1915 Saturday evening.
