OK we have some injuries but the last couple of performances have been abject. The manager has failed to get the team up for the games and now we are back in it

Seems a bit harsh? The one factor in his favour is the signing of Sakho (and how much of that was down to Parish)

Unless I have made an error, in the games Sakho has played the team has had 5 wins, 2 losses (one of which he left when drawing) and 1 draw.

Without him in the team, under Allardyce the team is 2-8-1 for an average of 0.64 points per game (worse than Sunderland)

The much maligned (and fairly so) Pardew was 4-10-3 for 0.88ppg

Even if we do stumble over the line we need a fresh start. Let him take his chunk of change for keeping us up and move on

No. End one with transition. Better than part way through season as has been the custom recently

Agreed. Huge amount of experience at this level we're lucky to have him. Not sure why we'd want to give that up? And who would come in next who's so much better that wants to come to Palace?

Plenty of teams have thought the grass isn greener without Sam. And if I'm not mistaken none improved...

Madness to seek another manager..

We also beat Liverpool at Anfield without Sakho. The lack of all three of our main center backs has caused us to be where we are, not just him.

Quite frankly, I'm astounded this thread is even being taken seriously. OK, he's made mistakes, but in all of our wins this seasons he's got it tatically spot on. Without him, we'd probably be down by tonight, just like Boro, especially with our fixtures over the past month.

Ridiculous topic and the timing is absurd. I hope you aren't at Selhurst on Sunday as your seat should go to a fan that like most of us will fully be behind the team and manager for the next 6 days.

Even if we go down, it's because Pardew started the season with no recognised left back, had the 1 point we need now at Swansea in stoppage time and lost, sold Jedinak and never replaced him etc.

We beat Liverpool without Sakho, because we had Tomkins. We won games without one of PVA or Schlupp because Sam had the foresight to sign 2 left backs.

Honestly the state of some of the posts on here. I immediately checked to see if you were a Brighton fan that joined today but you've had an account since 2013. Shocking.

Is it any wonder that so many "sensible" posters generally give Palace Talk a swerve when idiotic bollocks like this gets posted.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Should there be a 'taking the' in front of your username? We are paying the price for Pardew and the lack of fitness in the first half of the season. Allardyce has sorted out the mess and deserves a full season whatever division we are in. The injuries in defence have hit us the last couple of games.
