Average age about 65.
Doesn't fit into the Parish criteria of "Long term manager".

According to the independent report. 4 men are being interviewed for the palace job- 3 are schimdt, pellergino and dyche. The other being a veteran European coach. What age would you consider a veteran coach?

Would prefer Hiddink but doesn't fit in with Parish wanting a youngish coach.

I think it'll be Peligrino or the German chap.

Personally think schmidt will get it they were impressed with him with his high pressing game so think he will get it but could be wrong

He might interview the younger candidates and feel there not right. other than freedman, all of Parish appointments have been vastly experienced. If the right candidate doesn't stand out. Like when Parish appointed warnock. He may go for a 'safe hands' choice like hiddink or ranieri, and reacess next summer or in 2 yrs time.

Pellegrino my preferred option out of those candidates. Shame Villas-Boas has taken the cash in China as he could have been an interesting option.

If we are going for a veteran european coach the logical choice is Hector Cuper.

But he is Argentinian and hasn't managed in Europe for a few years.

Isn't the veteran European likely to be Ranieri who may think he still has something to prove ?
Didn't like the speed with which things went wrong for him at Leicester.
