I wouldn't mind Dyche but I notice he seems to like Ian Woan as his assistant. His 1st management job - Watford (2011/12) Woan was his assistant then Burnley Woan has been there the same years (2012-) so perhaps no Sammy Lee at Palace

If we get Dyche we need him to fall out with Woan!, any ideas?

I'm led to believe he also has Tony Loughlan as his 'First team coach'. 'Team Dyche' !

Sammy Lee's job title at Palace is 'Assistant manager' same as Woan not 'First team coach' out FTC is Kevin Keen.

Liverpool used 'Zonal marking' when the won the Championship in the days of Hansen etc.
Howard Wilkinson used it for many, many years and implemented it in many of the England teams when he was the FA's technical director.
And sometimes these days you will see a combination of Zonal and man-to-man marking when defending corners etc.

Times have moved on in 30 years, we don't need a dinosaur like Dyche, if we want to move forward.
We need a manager, who isn't just happy to survive, not some of the same old names on the managerial merry go round.

The same dinosaur who got Burnley promoted twice on a shoestring budget, made some realistic signings and turned Turf Moor into a tough ground to visit? Yeah, he's a dinosaur alright.....

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!"

A good idea but it would be worth adding Lucien Favre of Nice and Julian Nagelsmann of Hoffenheim to the list. Worth checking them out if you haven't already, outsiders but have attributes that would suit us. Favre is believed to be on his way to Dortmund but this has not been confirmed/completed.

I really don't know, just none of those. I guess if I had to pick one off the list I'd go with Marco Silva. He kept a cr@p Hull side in the race until the end...almost. I'm just concerned we're going to go for another Pardew and we'll have to call on another veteran manager to bail us out, but those options are quickly running out.

Signing Joey Barton, says volumes about him.
