OK, if we assume that there's some truth in this and there's some truth in the rumour that Dyche doesn't fancy the idea of tight financial shackles (he's probably had enough of that at Burnley), then the Americans are barking up the wrong tree. Is the correct answer. Wasn't it American investors that saddled Birmingham with Zola? Nearly got them relegated from a position of being promotion contenders. If any of this is true, and the length of the delay suggests that something is amiss, we've got ourselves in a bit of a pickle here. True enough, but it seems that may have been pragmatism to keep Sam on board and to keep us in the PL. Now that that imperative is perceived to have gone away by those in the US we may be expected to live on scraps.
