It's a fair point. It does highlight the dumbness of someone in that position posting something like that on a Facebook. I've come to the conclusion that posting an opinion about anything on Facebook is a dumb thing to do. Turns out that disagreeing with people on there can't be done in an adult fashion these days.

Disagreements are absolutely fine. I have had my fair share of arguments with people I consider friends online and in person, inciting violence and hatred online is different.

Yeah, I concur about the violence and hatred by the way, as I already had on this thread. But these days I find I can't talk about much at all on Facebook without someone coming straight in and calling me a c**t rather than just having a reasoned debate. They do have a point, but still....

Yeah I'm a lefty, have even been working in Westminster for labour since January but I find most of my Facebook friends, of all sorts of political views terrified of having their views challenged and would rather live in a safe little echo chamber than be forced to argue and defend their views. Hear a lot of 'f*ck off Tory scum' or 'liberal leftard snowflake' thrown about without any substance.
