I can't see him having a lot of game time and his main role will be to either give Benteke a rest or as someone to hoof the ball up to in the last 5min, and that's if he can stay fit. There's nobody in the current XI I'd drop for him. Decent squad player but am yet to be convinced he's any more than that.

He can certainly do what Campbell did, only better, so c'est deja quelque chose. I do seem to remember early last season we had a go at playing him up with Benteke and it looked decent, but my memory's a bit fuzzy so I may be hallucinating. Certainly he got injured before he really had the chance to do very much. Wickham don't go West. Murray recovered from this injury so let's hope he does the same. Potential England player just can't get going for any length of time.

There is a major ? against his fitness and is a man of glass. Whether this is down to the way he looks after himself I do not know but something has to change and quickly as he needs to show FdB that he is worthy of a squad place. He is no Number 10 IMO even if he were fully fit.
