I thought the whole point was to get Younger? 32 isn't young and not to mention he's French International which means there's a great deal of wear and tear on those 32 year old legs. Can we NOT find ANYONE younger to sign?

We need reinforcements desperately at centre back and an experienced classy centre back like Rami on the cheap is a smart bit of business. Let's not whinge over nothing already.

Let's not whinge over nothing already. Good point. I thought Kelly did pretty well as a stand in CB at the end of last season, so Rami coming in a a decent price would cover that position.

The whole point of bringing in Frank de Boer was to get younger and the first report out is we're going to sign a 32 year old CB makes ZERO sense.

Davinson Sanchez and Matthijs de Ligt are the CBs at Ajax and Nick Viergever along Heiko Westermann were the back ups. Edited by BigNasty12 (03 Jul 2017 12.06pm)

He seems also to be wanting an RB which is encouraging. We have been lucky Ward hasnt had any serious injuries, but in any case we would want an RB that was a reall improvement on Ward
