2017/18 HOL head-to-head fantasy league

I have once again set up a head-to-head fantasy league for the forthcoming Premier League season, and would welcome any interested HOL members to take part. Here is a link to the website: [Link] The code you will need to register a team is 181575-46199. A maximum of 20 people can participate in the league, with each participant’s fantasy team playing a match against another every week. The results are based on the game points scored by the actual players selected, with points being awarded to each fantasy team for wins and draws accordingly just as they are in the Premier League itself. The league will operate on a round robin basis throughout the whole of the 2017/18 Premier League season, which is due to kick off on Friday, 11 August. No cup or knockout rounds will be involved. Entry is of course free of charge, and while there is no prize money at stake there are still bragging rights to be won. There will also be three points up for grabs every week, so you will always have at least something to play for from the start of the season right to the very end. While any HOL members are welcome to join, places are obviously limited so please enter your team as soon as you can to avoid missing out. Hope to see you there!

Yes, worth pointing out you can join as many leagues as you like with just the one team (so little additional leg work). So hopefully folks on here will support both leagues. See you all there hopefully. FYI: Anyone who doesn't start the season with 3 Palace players in their squad should be instantly banned

In the last few games of last season I made sure I had three each from Hull and Swansea as I knew it would be the kiss of death for them. I reckon that's the main reason we stayed up. I'm a bit worried about the opening match against Huddersfield now, and with three ex-Palace players in their squad at least one of them is bound to score. I might be sorely tempted to work my magic again!

Very few consistently score points all season however well we do. The moment you drop Benteke for Townsend (for example) he starts banging them in and Townsend goes AWOL. That may not have happened, just picked two random players to make my point. Other teams have players with more consistency in FF.

I soon put a stop to that! That's great news Michael, pleased to have you along!
