He's actually been confirmed by the club then? Missed that.

1. Wilf was man of the match by a country mile.
2. The score didn't matter cos it was a tester joint.
3. Patrick Van Aanholt showed his class; stopped a ball dead from Coutinho in the box and slotted it miles away.
4. FDB may actually be an alien disguised as an Action Man but with gripping hands.
5. Hong Kong has more t*****s than I thought.

Mine's a light and bitter.

Wan-Bissaka was very impressive. Tenacious in the tackle, great defensively and very good on the ball. Clyne like.

Well that is interesting as it's totally a position that's up for grabs, even if we make a signing we'll still need cover.

Expect to see more of this one then.

And who said even with FdB it'd be ten years before our academy produces any players!

Croydon lad, don't get more home grown than that.

I thought he was poor. Rabbit and headlights sprung to mind.

Thinking we watched different games. I feel your rabbit in headlights may apply to Anderson if anyone.

I thought Anderson and Wan Bisaka both looked very poor.Nice little run by Anderson for his first half shot but apart from that looked clueless on the ball and didn't do anything.
Wan Bisaka I thought looked awkward on the ball and didn't know what to do with it, I can remember one strong tackle but apart from that not much else. To compare him to Clyne is laughable.
Kirby and Philips on the other hand I thought looked quite exciting in the short time they was on.
Kirby was quick, made some nice runs into space and picked out a couple of clever passes.
Philips made two or three good tackles, comfortable on ball and again spotted a couple of good passes that turned into an attack.
Time will tell I suppose.
