Still warranted a place in the side. Was dropped for his player who was a wasn't an upgrade in the position that we badly needed. As a result we lost our fight and all of our games. And to strip him of his captaincy just before selling him was uncalled for. Not continuing a debate about this. It's the way I feel and there's nothing you can say that will change that now.

100% agree. The way he was treated by parish and pardew was disgusting.

I'm afraid I take a different viewpoint. But I respect your right to your opinion.

In what way ?
Should he have continually played just because he was Captain and a fans favourite ?
Players get picked, players get dropped - one might not agree that a player should be dropped but that is football.

Look at the way Speroni, paddy McCarthy and Johnny Williams were treated by Steve parish. He shouldn't of been stripped of the captaincy and sold for a small fee of 4m. Jedinak a real Palace great and deserves more respect. When Speroni hangs his gloves. I'm expecting he gets a real send off. Jedinak was forced to play against wba as a non captain. Without his leadership would we even be in the prem league. Fans like you have short memories. He was immense under pulis and topped a lot of stats.

No I certainly don't just have a short memory.

I have commented on here earlier today that Jedinak had been a great servant to the club and that would get a good reception if he came back with another club.

I recognise what a good player he had been for us but he was a fading force in the PL and accordingly I can totally understand the stance taken by Pardew and Parish. At the end of the day, I think getting £4 Mill for him in the circumstances was good business.

What did we actually do with that 4m then.

That's another matter entirely.

In the circumstances, at that time, £4 Mill for Jedinak was sound business.

You mean the way he was allowed to go to Australia to play in some Mickey Mouse tournament, when we were in relegation trouble. Then he got upset as we played better without him and couldn't get his place back.

How comes he won his place back for the fa cup final then. Another one do you ever write anything positive.

Not everyone looks at everything through rose tinted glasses. You said he was treated in a disgracefully by Pardew and Parish, I just pointed out he was allowed to go to Australia for 4 weeks and we did better without him.
There needs some balance.

I was very positive about Jedinak in that I said he was a great servant to the club and that he would receive a good reception if he came back with another club, and rightly so.

I fully appreciate the contribution he made but he was a fading force at PL level and £4 Mill for him at the time was good business.

Clearly others disagree with my viewpoint but I repect the right of others to express their opinions.
