It's irrelevant if the OP is a fan or a troll, all this negativity can be quite destabilising. It's divided this board and got people slagging each other off. If many of these people go to matches, then going with this mindset could lead to a nervous, frosty atmosphere on Saturday. If things don't go well straight away the booing and jeering will start again and that will really affect the team. Edited by Dangermouse (23 Aug 2017 10.11pm)

I believe that back in the day the Palace Subbuteo team came in a box labelled Barcelona/Crystal Palace. FYI, am spouting pointless nonsense in an attempt to fit in with this post. Fact!!

Under the current board Palace are like a leaky rowing boat with only one oar going round in circles under a captain who is used to commanding an oil tanker. After staying the the Prem for the last few years we should have consolidated by now and (to continue the metaphor) fitted an outboard motor and a cabin and achieved an even-keel under a Captain who understands he is only in charge of a rowing boat. Unfortunately I've got a sinking feeling...
