What are we going to do with him? If Frank switches to 4-3-3 he cant play in a back four and he is not physical enough to play in the rough and tumble of the midfield. He looks like a player who can only play in one system and that system doesn't work for us, so it's looking like 8m down the toilet already

Link says he can play center half, left back and defensive midfielder. Guess some are quick to write things to suit there agenda rather than Google to find out if there talking nonsense or not.... He can play three positions. No idea if he'll be good but to write him off as a player who just plays one position is idiotic.

It's not an opinion I've seen mentioned too much on here but I would like to Riedewald in a holding midfield role. Whether he starts or not is a different matter. Did look slightly out of his comfort zone at the back against Huddersfield but that was one game. Must have some physical presence as a CB and can certainly play do I think for £8mil at his age it's a great price. Only problem is obviously if he is to be our only signing which is not enough!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Normally 4-3-3.

What about is Fosu fumble at the back on Saturday had lead to a goal? Let's write him off too...? Anyway was just answering the OPs question of which positions he can play.
