Well I have had my rants this close season, I am totally disappointed with the window and what we brought in on a permanent basis. But as a loyal Palace supporter its now time for me to get behind the club and let's hope it works out and we are all sitting here in the January window, sitting in a comfortable mid table position. talking about who we think will get relegated. Lots of us are unhappy but its time to push on and hope for the best, No more negative posts from me for a while

Pulis thought he could leave and rip us off. Fortunately, the club took him to court and got our money back, are you saying that we should have left it, as he did such a good job?

Holloway left because he realised that the job was beyond him and good on him for being honest enough to recognise it.

But you want to blame Parish for that. At least get it right before you post rubbish.

There are a few things That the board have got wrong but Pulis and Holloway aren't on that list..

Also, no player will guarantee you points, if we had signed Sakho before now, how would he have got us points when he couldn't have even played due to his long term injury.

Please explain...

Since 2010 we have had 8 managers. Possibly soon to be 9 in what 7 years (this isn't including caretaker managers).
So what you are saying is the man responsible for those hires isn't responsible? Just all bad luck I guess?

Chelsea also have had 8 in the same period and they have won things. Just goes to show success doesn't keep your job, just a payoff.

Third lowest spenders in the transfer window (£34M) only Bournemouth and Stoke spent less £31M and £26M respectively. Of those clubs we are supposedly/should be competing with Leicester spent £58M, Watford £57M, West Ham £43M, Swansea £38M, Burnley £36M and West Brom £35M.

The new boys Huddersfield spent £41M and even "the weed" spent the same as us - although to be fair on the latter seems to be more quantity than quality.

Now there is an argument given our squad pre window a lot of investment has already happened - we spent £31M in January plus the loan deal for Sakho.

Additionally in this window we have signed Wilf on a new 5 year deal at a reported £110K per week - even allowing for Sakho I would suggest this is our best bit of business of the summer. Given the crazy prices this summer how much is Wilf worth?

But just two more signings would have made it a great window - for my money Begovic reported £10M and Lucas Perez who was reportedly available for £13M.

If Huddersfield can spend £41M having just been promoted I can't believe going into our 5th season on the spin in the Prem we couldn't find another £23M for these two - would have made such a difference given the other business we have done.

But I guess no point in crying over spilt milk - we must be looking at the free agent market now - if as is reported Remy's contract has been cancelled by Chelsea I would take him - on the few occasions he was fit last year looked useful if nothing else ha can keep Wickham company in the treatment room. Then I'd go Lindegaard for keeper cover.

Parrish so close to a great transfer window - please learn from this and get our business done early doors in the future - if nothing else for my health and sanity.

COYP.

Must be right then. Also they sack managers if they don't win the league. Quite a different situation to us.
I shall stop making points on this. Unfortunately to some Parish is untouchable and every decision he makes is correct because he came in riding on his white horse and saved the club.
