I know this is crying over spilt milk, but Marco Silva seems to be performing. As I recall he chose Watford over us. Or was that because SP was more interested in Majorca than Silva.

Look at the timeline: he was hired on 27 May, and Sam announced his departure on 23 May. Watford were openly looking for a new manager well before the end of the season so I suspect it was a done deal. SP himself said the contact came from Silva's representatives at the last minute and he offered to fly Silva out for a meeting. Silva's representatives refused.

Marco Silva would have been more pragmatic what disappoints me is that we made a statement about radically changing style...does this criticise those who affected that style so well. Also we have a team that should be like Watford where it does not appear to be important who the managers is. We have enough quality.. Are they not able to do what de boer wants or have as a board become obsessed with the right way of playing. Wonder how Watford players would respond to De Boer, just cannot see them appointing him they have a different identity.
