I guess you haven't read my posts then. Like I've said many times I think Steve f***ed up big time, appointing De Boar and trying to change the direction of the club from counter attacking to total football without spending was f***ing stupid in my uneducated opinion. I'm not debating that i'm simply saying that when certain people disrespect Steve and start calling for his head and disregarding the past 7 years is ridiculous. When some moron on the internet thinks he can run the club better than Steve without having any experience is laughable. The guy got us to the prem and kept us there for 7 years. Maybe we should appoint Rudinho he seems to know his stuff, although like I said he does remind me of those trolls that critique boxers because they've had a few boxing classes and think they are the s***.

Some moron hey? Pretty ironic from someone semi-literate. I didn't say anything about running the club you fool. I want Parish to keep running the club, but because you're irrational you can't digest what you read or hear. I said I'd have advised or not hired Frank, which is incidentally whatvghe football world was saying.

And as it happens above you've agreed with my opinion in your bold points. So after calling me a moron, ffs, I don't know what that makes you squire. You've confused your appreciation of Parish's previous success and luck, recent failures, other's criticism, your lack of being able to digest it all and got yourself in a stupor. Have a rest, son.

However, this isn't a badly run club as some have us believe. My mate is an Orient fan. He'll tell you what a badly run club looks like.

Also, why mention the increase in money that you spend to watch the games? If we were in the championship would you have expected the prices to have been frozen for 5 years? I would imagine that most businesses in the last 5 years have raised prices in one way or another.

Because we pay more money to watch the team, for reasons besides inflation, so rightly expectations on how the club is run is higher. The argument that Parish saved the club and has got us into the premier league so everyone just be grateful and shutup is wearing really, really thin. Granted he deserved a little bit of that from time to time and many Palace fans gave it to him for the initial good work that he has been praised from the roof tops for. The money he's made and the extra money fans pay for this is completely relevant as to why fans are justified in feeling that this club isn't being run like the stable premier league club it should be, entering its 5th year in the league.

I'm not the one saying I could run the club better than A premiership chairman who got us promoted and kept us in the division for 5 years, Who is also getting advised by ex professionals like Mark Bright and Dougie. So don't try that Einstein I've never given my opinion on how to run the club as i'm not deluded to think i have a more educated opinion on football than those in charge.

Go to bed you fool. Night classes are still available.

Isn't summer holidays over yet? Shouldn't you be packing your Steve Parish lunch box ready for tomorrow? Assume you have breakfast club in the morning.

Badly run? Hmmm. Well if you call one, yes ONE striker in the biggest league acceptable then I suppose you're right. But then it's not only the striker but 'crisp packet hands' the hol radio like to nickname Hennessey. Knock him every week then when Parish is on the phone let him waffle the 90 mins away.

Yep, we'll run club. Everything might be well run apart from the transfers and Parish's player appraisal. Did you hear that shyte on Campbell? My fvcking God.

Jesus, you're adorable. Being badass on football manager doesn't make you a badass manager in real life pal. Good night sweat heart.

I think the difference is with this period, is the "hope" seems to of faded. As a fan of any club, you always look to see a positive sign regardless of how bad things are. A small part of you finds comfort In the potential. There is always something to be proud of, whether it's the fan base, youth set up etc.

For the first time as a Palace fan I've felt genuinely disillusioned by the things going on off the field and I personally feel the way we treated the previous manager was embarrassing and an epitome of everything that is wrong in English football today. It just feels hard to see the potential of ever progressing, given the almost unique Palace way we went about it and the reckless decision making process we appeared to employ. That's the thing most people have a problem with, it was completely amateur from start to finish.

Why would a forward thinking, long-term visioned coach who wants to progress a teams style over a period of a couple of seasons ever want to come to Palace after that fiasco? Parish provided sweet nothing as to why the managerial reign lasted such a little amount of time other than "we weren't gonna get any better and we ain't gonna go to Chelsea and pass our way to win" which to me just sounded like garbage and comes back to this image of Parish, a couple of yanks and Dougie Freedman genuinely believing they know more about the game than an ex world class and globally respected footballer.

There is almost definitely much more to it that he won't admit, because if he couldn't see that against Liverpool the game plan most certainly wasn't "pass our way through Em" and we could've easily come away with a point (or 3), he's just lying to everyone.

I'd agree with that sentiment.
It was very important after that whole debacle that we saw signs that would justify the decision, i.e. an improved performance on the pitch against Southampton, preferably a win or at least a point, signs that the the rot had been stopped, players fighting for the new manager.

We got none of that.

If there were indeed things going on behind the scenes, that has been alluded to, it needs to be made clear and public.
Because right now, every pundit, every fan of another club, wants to see us fail, because of what has gone on.

In the same respect that your patience is wearing thin in regards to everyone just being grateful to Parish for saving the club, there are those of us that are bored of the constant moaning about how badly the club is being run. If there is such a strong feeling of anger and annoyance about it why don't those fans do something about it. Organise a protest, send a petition, get a banner made up etc.

This is a forum for discussion and fans have the right to air grievances and opinions here, that doesnt mean to say they feel strongly enough to organise a protest, which is a whole different kettle of fish.

Do you know how silly that sounds?

When was your last match? How many matches in a season?

When you wake up you'll find out how stupid that immature post is.

Going by how recent you've entered these forums you probably either don't go very often or dip in and out.

Doesn't sound anywhere near as silly as "If parish took my advice he'd have flown back from Spain and gone all out for silva and if not given it to Dyche. Now going by past and recent performance I'd estimate that meaning 4+ points, possibly 9, then saving £2 mil comply and very likely the many millions and years in the championship, so yeah, i reckon I've got more of an idea on football than parish."

You're a very angry man, I'll work on my grammar maybe you should take up Yoga or maybe just lay off football manager for a while?

You know full well that I am not advocating protests etc. I just fail to see what this continued negativity will achieve and what the ultimate end goal of the hardcore criticisers is.

Do you feel that the personal questions are really relevant? My last match was against Soton and I go as much as work allows which is around 15 homes games a season. You want more history? I had a season ticket as a kid, went home and away but played non-league footballl for next 12 odd years which meant I could only get to games on Wednesday nights.I have been going more consistently for the last 3-4 years after I gave up playing because 18 year old wingers were skinning me and it was costing me a fortune in yellow cards.I joined this forum around 10 years ago to mainly find reviews on how the games looked from the fans point of view (the site used to be humerous) when I couldn't get there due to playing. Is that okay with you or does than invalidate my opinion?

You can continue to bait me into namecalling (as you have done on other threads) but I can assure you that I will not rise to it so you are wasting your time.
