That's one of the reasons why I don't follow Palace on Facebook or Twitter as they both seem to be gathering places for halfwits.

What makes it worse is the media fixation of getting quotes from Twitter to go with every article they write but they only seem to publish posts from dorks

Agreed and the Hol is now similar.

It isn't. They're in the lower or lowest set. 2 sentence irrational rants lacking in material or substance or analysis.

This maybe what Parish is referring to but that's the nature of those beasts. He picked up one semi literate poster on hol but aftet I typed out a couple of fair questions to him on the very page he was reading, they were ignored.

Parish is under huge pressure, I understand that, but he's also picking out the irrational and semi literate rants to make his point and ignoring the more thought through stuff, but then says why can't people suggest solutions.

Obviously everyone’s worried and frustrated but I can’t understand the mentality to just whine and whine until we start winning again.

The toxic negativity from our fans on message boards and social media is damaging.

It is. And it's starting to filter into the crowd on match days.

It's actually alright until it looks like the game isvgoing to be lost, which incidentally is every game. Before then people are upbeat.

Depends on where in the ground you sit.

It is all very well advocating that the negativity should cease forthwith, but it is almost inevitable that in our position, positivity is a very rare commodity.

A win of course will banish the feelings of despair but until there are signs of positivity in terms of results, negativity will prevail in differing degrees.

In terms of our prospects this season I remain cautiously optimistic - is this being somewhat negative ? !!!!

We had the lowest attendance last night at 6,000 and likely tomorrow. Reading in the cup was bigger than us at 8,000 and so was a League 1 match at Wigan I think. Tonight's cup matches will smash our's as well.

We need a lift to be really lifted. Every week we start with positivity but get let down. Cue sense of entitlement for 1 goal, snore, zzzzzz.

No I didn't. Otherwise engaged, although I wouldn't have gone anyway. I've done my bit loads over the years.

Merely pointing it out, as you can see.

For the sake of the club the negativity needs to stop. No one including Parish is pleased about how the last few months have panned out.

Supports constant negativity will do nothing to help the club get back on track.

We need to show how strong we are and get behind the club.

Negativity needs to stop it won't solve anything.

I suspect that anyone who posts a negative comment on here is a Charlton, Millwall or Brighton troll. I mean why would real fans want to kick our morale when it is already down on the ground? Personally I can't ever recall feeling so disillusioned with the club but I don't want to keep telling everyone...
