No they are warped.

Any thread here in this case 'the labour party conference' is a vehicle for the 'we hate the EU' brigade.

Just a bunch of nazis.

It's a change from their usual paranoia about race and immigration.

It's difficult these days to know when one is being a nazi. There is a market opportunity here that steeleye might want to take advantage of. He could design an app for your phone. You input an opinion on some current event or other and the app could respond with 'you are a fascist b******' or 'right on comrade', depending on steeleye's view of the stated opinion.

He mentioned it once, but I think he got away with it.
He did spend some time in telling us how wonderful Diane Abbott is.
He keeps promising to give loads of money to someone called Manny - I guess it is to show that the current Labour party is not anti-semetic.

In isolation lots of his policies are welcomed and indeed mainstream. What he needs to assure people is they won't do everything all at once and then also take on whatever cries for money everywhere else here and the world over. Emphasising the need for 2 terms is crucial, and any government struggles to do anything in 1, which is why we struggle to reach a happy medium of financial discipline, fairness and low poverty levels.

Thinking about the claim that 80% of current jobs could be lost to technology by 2050, which although I think is an exaggeration, is possibly going to lead to more left leaning voters. Or maybe it'll be so gradual it won't, or maybe this country won't seem so much of a place to emigrate to and Brits start emigrating East.

Finished listening to Jeremy - that's it, I'm converted - singing The Red Flag while I type this. Can't wait to get started. First thing, we should ban all fascists from this forum.

'First thing, we should ban all fascists from this forum'.

So you are off, well good luck in the future anyway!
