Yes, alas our squad is nearer the end of its playing career rather than the beginning. As such the wage bill is a tadge inflated. If we are relegated at least half the current first team will be gone. To be honest I wont miss many of them, but I will miss Wilf. I have been born and bread admiring those players that can excite you. Apart from a few glimpses from RLC (who will undoubtedly go back to Chelsea) there really hasn't been much excitement.

I follow the championship as I enjoy the football more.

It's not going to be a picnic if we do go down as its very competitive.

In the PL the same rich teams are at the top every year apart from Leicester one time.

Palace cannot compete financially and to do so would be bankruptcy.

More money than sense means not a sport to me.

Maybe at the top, but I don't see why Palace cant compete with Watford, Stoke, Burnley, Bournemouth, West Brom, etc etc. The simple fact is total mismanagement. Of course its not my millions going down the pan, but who will stay? All the "top" players will have relegation break clauses in their contracts and will be sold, so it will really be going back to perhaps 7/8 years overnight and don't think that such a team will find it easy in the Championship. It could all have been avoided by simply planning ahead and being realistic. Parrish must be feeling sick as are we all at the moment.

Following Palace since 25 Feb 1978

Of course I will still go whatever division we end up in. The fact is the prem is top heavy with a few clubs backed by crazy money men. That has never been and I hope never will be Palace.

Right now I am pretty disillusioned with the whole state of affairs and like all Palace Supporters I need a lift to get the belief back.

It will come and I predict that before Arsenal on Boxing Day we will be either out of the bottom three or just a point adrift.

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!
