Link below suggesting that we are interested in him as a free agent signing. At 35 no doubt past his prime but has a pretty good goal scoring record over the years, and looks a cut above some of the other free agents previously linked to us.

Has had a pretty successful time overall in Italy and has played for the national side...could be the best of the free's available although I would prefer Cheik Diabate ........

Not good enough for the MLS.... If he is not fit it’s pointless signing him...won’t be able to play for 6 to 8 weeks, by that time it will be almost at the transfer window and he will then block the signing of anybody else. It’s a no from me ....there are no quick fixes....we are stuffed until jan.
