Isolate the inferior ones and select them days or a week or two later isn't inspired Man management either. A manager who can't man manage (do his job) is doomed.

Play him centre back all summer before playing him in the first league game in a 2 man central pair. Have Ward RWB to the side of him which he hadn't played in the summer and will never master. Have 2 youngsters behind at CB, either side of Dann. One only 4 days at the club. Have the best midfielder (Cheek) right forward. PVA having some traditional Dutch football feud with Frank. Bob's your uncle. That's how it's done. Luca ruined. COYP**

All that and expecting everyone to be as good as he was makes him far from smart. COYP
