Getting rid of a player who can play full back, centre back and centre mid would be madness. He will certainly be needed over the Christmas period and his performances could force his way into the first team.

Don't know the terms of his 'Loan' transfer but Man Utd might decide to recall him due to his lack of games ?

I think the manager doesn't rate him for some reason Today we are missing a centre back and Kelly looks like he is playing there

As many have already pointed out, could we be hoping to send Tim back to free up a loan space? I really rate him, pacey and good going forward. Wards got a second wind and has looked solid over last few games so dont think you would change it.

I think Fosu-Mensah is decent but if he’s not playing then there’s no point in him being here for us or Utd. If he does go back I’m reading that Giroud might be available for a loan... he’s been told by the France management he needs to be playing more in a World Cup year and would therefore consider a loan till the end of the season. Could work well for both parties?

Rumours are that Manu are very unhappy that he’s getting no game time, may as well have stayed at old Trafford. So this decision may be made for us anyway.

You know what will happen. Mensah goes back and Ward gets a long term injury the week after. In comes Kelly at RB as long as 2 of Sakho, Tomkins or Dann are fit.

He will get some game time when we start the FA Cup. I haven't seen a direct comment from Utd themselves on this so this could just be more crap from the press.
