They've won a World Cup in recent memory and they'll sort this out, like Germany did after the Germany 1-5 England in Berlin 2001. Because of the money in the prem and foreign players needed to guarantee to instantly compete in Europe we never will, unless we drop wastes of time and recruit from the the lower age groups and stick with them and a system.

no Italian team ? well that's a ton of sign language removed from the tournament. Shame about the defensive masterclass that is italy. But i will not miss the cheating, diving, and general mindgames. Sweden made the italians look like a photogenic millwall.

Maybe goes to show that qualifying is not always a gimme, no Holland either, perhaps England should be cut some slack as we've always sailed through qualifying
