The medicine prescribed by the Tories for the ills of the GFC have been along the lines of giving antibiotics to someone with a serious virus along with a course of starvation, and now the antibiotics no longer work, the patient is emaciated, on the verge of total collapse and has contracted sepsis, for which the bloody antibiotics are now useless.

You seem to have a similar affliction. Deficit hawks were wrong then and they are wrong now.
