Wow, pointless retort.

If a retort had a point on it wouldn't it overbalance, tip the contents all over the workbench, and knock the Bunsen burner over?

Murray has played the same number of matches and scored five!!!!! This is not to suggest Murray should be comming back, cause that is not going to happen. But do suggest that even an old, average striker with a minimum of work rate and desire, would be a much better option than Benteke.

Murray missed from 3 yards yesterday and scored his 2nd penalty of the season. Murray don't run the channels either.
Benteke made a chance out of nothing that won us the corners that led to his weak header. He mistimed it and got no power on it, it happens.

If you're talking about the header from the corner, he didn't miss time it, met it perfectly and should have buried it in the corner, but headed it straight into the keepers arms. Sums his season up sadly.

Had a free header and got zero power in it. Definitely mistimed it or his jump otherwise keeper would have only been able to parry it. Compare to Emre Can for Liverpool, he caught that sweet and basically straight at the keeper.

i love bentekkers but we seem to play better without him in the team.

if woy can find a way of playing well with him then its all hood, sam did so its possible.

when hes on form hes a 1 in 2 PL striker, in a top team he would bag 25 goals every season.

unless everton bid £40m+ in jan i cant see him leaving

Nobody will give you that money for a striker who hasn't scored in half a year

But if they did? Do we take it...?

I'd only entertain an offer of £30m+ but even then im not sure taking it is the solution or not.

He's on a bad run of form that happens. But if he gets his mojo back then he's worth every penny. Maybe someone with deep pockets would take that risk.

Chelsea / Everton both could afford him and both have been mentioned in the past...

So if the £35m is offered?

Let's not forget big Sam paid a ransom for Schulpp and PVA, would it be surprising if he came in for Benteke at £35m, maybe surprising but not out of this world.

Seems the games without Benteke showed we're better off without a hoofball target up front. And top PL striker with zero goals after playing 10 games - a bit like Pardew at his worst...

How on earth you can compare Benteke with the others.

Gayle is not a premier league striker and never will be . His record against Benteke record is inferior.

Murray was a mistake selling him we all know that. Murray would have been a useful squad member but not the answer.

Benteke will come good.

Ladopa and Kaikai are not the answer either.

Keep telling yourself this, the 2 games he has started he scored away at Man Utd and away at Chelsea. Now by my reckoning that is 2 more than Tekkers. Go on tell me i am wrong....
