Looked much better near the end and now feeling a little more confident for the second half. Just wish we had some one on the bench who could add something. Possibly fosu-Mensah but that's about it.

Have this team ever trained? Everytime a pass seems right, we shoot. When a shot looks the better option we pass. Will Benteke score in 2017 - or 18 - does not look likely.

We were lucky to ride that out without conceding.. picked up towards the end of the half though definitely. We're still in this.

Pretty good half. I think Benteke has done well today. Hope he carries on. Our decision making hasn't been great but we are definitely on top. COME ON PALACE!

Wilf goes past people at such speed that it doesn't take much to knock him over. If that contact is enough to genuinely knock him over surely that's a foul? What worries me is that Pardew was always good at getting strong second half performances.
