Lets hope its a loan and not part of some Zaha deal ! (60Mil plus Cheeks wages paid for the year, that sort of thing)

well they are right, premierLeague.com does have him down as on loan to us for The 18/19 season!

if he was on loan to us A) it would have been announced by now and B) it wouldn't technically be a 'transfer' so wouldn't necessarily show up on completed transfers.

We have been through this. It’s a clearly a ‘copy and paste’ jobby as TFM also has the same status. We may be in for RLC but we not in for TFM again.

RLC is in line to play tomorrow and I’m sure after that we will know where chelsea stand on his season. If he is not needed, then he will be available for loan/buy

I like RLC and was impressed with him last season.
My concern about taking him back relates to the balance of the squad and knock on effect on current players.
Assuming we play with four in midfield it looks like two positions will be taken by Luka and Townsend.
This leaves Mcartthur,Schlupp,Meyer and Kouyate battling for the two remaining positions.
It could be argued that RLC is an upgrade so why worry,but Mcarthur and Schlupp have been good and reliable players who should not just be sidelined for a loan player and I am sure the two new players will expect an opportunity
Palace are not a Man C, Liverpool or Chelsea with bloated squads and a key aspect of Palace’s recent history has been squad unity and team spirit.

I appreciate what you’re saying but that’s the nature of the game they’re all aware of, for longer than it used to be at least, and if 1 is injured which isn’t unusual, that’s just 1 on the bench. What if 2 are injured? When you look at that list you see again why they want to sell/swap Riedewald out.
