Fan v Benteke confrontation

Heard on the radio, a fan ran towards Benteke at the end saying something and Benteke tried to react and had to be restrained. Anyone know what exactly happened?

Say what you like about him but good on Simmons for still being able to run at his age. Anyway, if CB had tried to kung-fu kick him it would have taken about a minute from the time his leg left the ground to hitting his chest and would have felt like a feather landing.

I was there and didnt see that, definately not at the end of the game anyway, i think we should have an allocated penalty taker in luca and no one else, no matter what! If tekkers had scored that he would have been a hero, getting on his back dont help anybody, he won a lot of balls in the air and didnt do bad, he"s not as good a penalty taker as luca so from now on roys gotta tell them all that!

We did have an allocated penalty taker. Roy said after the game that Benteke unilaterally decided to take the kick and nobody could take the ball off of him.

What was frustrating is that he won a majority of high balls but every flipping time nobody was close enough to take the knock-down. What do they do on the training field?

What’s frustrating is that we have to rely on a useless striker who cares more about himself than the team and the fact that we have no one brave enough to slap him back into his cage.
